According to the information from Centre of Health Protection & concerned government department, on 21 December 2021, a local COVID-19 confirmed patient had taken the 4:45pm fast-ferry sailing deployed by New Ferry II departing from Central to Cheung Chau, while the concerned sailing departing from Cheung Chau to Central was within the period from 9pm to 11pm.
Meanwhile, according to the latest government gazette of compulsory testing notice, any persons who had been present at Central Pier No. 5 and/or Cheung Chau Pier at any time during the period from 4pm to 6pm or 9pm to 11pm on 21 December 2021 are required to undergo the compulsory COVID-19 testing* on 4 January or 5 January, and on 9 January 2022.
