In connection with today’s Cheung Chau Bun Festival, Sun Ferry Services Company Limited (“Sun Ferry”) has increased the number of sailings plying between Central and Cheung Chau to around 200%, with six sailings departing per hour in average during peak periods. The total number of passengers plying between Central and Cheung Chau records around 18.5% increment compared with the same period last year.
The number of passengers taking Sun Ferry plying between Central and Cheung Chau until 8:00pm is around 51,300.
In connection with the Bun Scrambling Competition to be held at midnight, Sun Ferry will be providing an additional ordinary-ferry sailing at 1:15am on 16 May (Thursday) departing from Cheung Chau for passengers to return to Central after the competition. As only limited seats are available for the public to watch the competition at the venue, please pay attention to the announcement of the organiser and the media reports before departure.
