Upon the commencement of new school term, there has been a transient increase in the passenger demand of 06:20am fast-ferry sailing departing from Cheung Chau to Central while there is ample carrying capacity of the 05:50am ordinary-ferry sailing ahead.
In order to actively encouraging our passengers to become an early riser to go to work & school, Sun Ferry will be launching an Early-bird Sailing Offer (“the Offer”) during this transitional period.
From Mondays to Fridays (except Public Holidays) between 1 November 2022 and 30 November 2022, passengers boarding 05:50am ordinary-ferry sailing departing from Cheung Chau to Central by using an adult Octopus will enjoy 22% discount off the normal fare instantly regardless of the cabin chosen (except the holders of the concessionary tickets*). The discounted fares of ordinary class and deluxe class are HK$11.0 and HK$17.4 respectively.
*Concessionary tickets refer to the monthly tickets, student monthly tickets, Holiday Return tickets, multi-ride tickets and the concessionary fare providing under the “Public Transport Fare Concession Scheme for the Elderly and Eligible Persons with Disabilities”

- Passengers board the 05:50am ordinary-ferry sailing (applicable to both ordinary class and deluxe class) departing from Cheung Chau to Central by using an adult Octopus can enjoy 22% discount off the normal fare. The discounted fares of ordinary class and deluxe class are HK$11.0 and HK$17.4 respectively. This offer is not applicable to the payment in cash.
- The Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other concessionary fares/tickets including monthly tickets and the fare adjustment to take deluxe class; student monthly tickets and the fare adjustment to take deluxe class; multi-ride tickets and the fare adjustment to take deluxe class; holiday return tickets and the concessionary fare providing under the “Public Transport Fare Concession Scheme for the Elderly and Eligible Persons with Disabilities”.
