Sun Ferry Services Company Limited (“Sun Ferry”) has increased the number of sailings from Cheung Chau to Central around 200% with six sailings departing per hour in peak times after the end of Bun Festival Grand Parade. Until 5pm, the total number of passengers plying between Central and Cheung Chau records 12.5% more compared with the same period last year.
The number of passengers taking Sun Ferry plying between Central and Cheung Chau between 8:00am and 5:00pm is as follows:

The number of passengers travelling from Cheung Chau to Central is expected to increase to over 14,000 by 6:00pm.
In connection with the Bun Scrambling Competition to be held at midnight, Sun Ferry will be providing an additional ordinary-ferry sailing at 1:15am on 16 May (Thursday) departing from Cheung Chau for passengers to return to Central after the competition. As only limited seats are available for the public to watch the competition at the venue, please pay attention to the announcement of the organiser and the media reports before departure.
